On our first day in Bangkok we went for a walk and ended up at the Mandarin Oriental on the water front.

We finally arrived to Japan after 11+ hours of flying. And now we are waiting for the connecting flight to Bangkok.

I recently purchased Canon Pixma Pro9000 and had problems finding description of the color profiles that Canon put together  for different types of their photo paper. Canon used the most cryptic way of naming them without much of logic or conventions e.g. PR1, SP4 … Finally I was able to find the descriptions and created a cheat-sheet in PDF format. Download.

I took this picture with 17-40mm @40mm. Not bad at all in MHO. Pretty versatile lens.

I just wanted to upload this picture that I took with the lens. The colors are amazing! I am very happy with it. The only complaint is that AF is not great in a low-light conditions.
